Assignment

If I do not have an assignment, I do not paint.

I must push myself.
Here is my probably finished oil painting of the character I got for Babes in Toyland, Mary Mary Quite Contrary. Not perfect, but not too bad. I hope it will be dry enough on Monday when we turn them in.

The art group is having another opportunity to paint some of the performers in a play, Babes in Toyland. Today was the photo shoot. Jane and Alan, the old lady who lived in the shoe, Mary Contrary, Lady Violet, and scores of other characters were there. Lucky me, I got to take pix not just of the one I will be doing but for a couple of the other artists, too.
